2008

I had drawn my whole life. But by the time I was a junior in high school, I was about to give up on art. I didn't feel up to the artistic level that others were at.
I took an art class only because it was required.
One day, my high school art teacher, Jeff Bushman, said, "Go paint something outside", so I did... it wasn't fabulous, it wasn't even very pretty, but it left its impression: I felt that there was more inside of me, more to develop, something that God had placed there.
My mom rushed out and bought some paints for me, and with the supplies, I experiemented.
And so, as a high school junior, I began my true journey as an artist with sketches, pen and ink,  and watercolor.
